Beauty Review | Avon's BIG & DARING VOLUME Mascara
The reason I wanted to try this mascara is because Avon have never really done a 'thick lashes' mascara. I know 'Supershock' would be classed as one but personally I do not think it is. I've not had much effect with that one. So I was interested to see what this mascara was like.

'Avon's BIG & DARING Volume Mascara Waterproof formula - shade Black' |
The BIG & DARING mascara came out a while ago, but the waterproof one is new. I haven't tried the ordinary mascara, so I cannot compare the two but I don't think it will be as long lasting and effective as the waterproof one.
The reason I wanted to try this mascara is because Avon have never really done a 'thick lashes' mascara. I know 'Supershock' would be classed as one but I don't think it is. I've not had much luck with that one. So I was intrigued to see what this mascara was like.
I always think thicker brushes causes clumps. I took a risk with getting this mascara. And I'm glad I did take that risk. I am impressed with the dramatic effect this mascara creates. It makes your lashes look more voluminous and longer than ever. It doesn't clump and doesn't smudge. I think you need 3 coats for the mascara to do it's magic.
Although the Waterproof formula keeps the mascara on for longer on my lashes, it is harder to remove and awkward to get off. So when this mascara has been worn for a day - I suggest removing it with eye make up remover and a cotton wool pad. There is loads of eye make up removers in the world, but if you want something easy to get (from Boots) and affordable than Simple Kind to Eyes - Eye Make Up Remover is your one.
The only fault with this mascara is that is has a very sticky consistency and when it's applied to the lashes it's hard to separate and brush through. But I'm going to still use it and try it out in the winter because of hay fever my eyes are worse In the summer.
