Avon Extra Lasting Eyeshadow Ink | Eternal Emerald

I bought this eyeshadow ink from Avon a couple of campaign's ago. I was intrigued to see what this eyeshadow was like, I was wondering if it was anything like the creamy eyeshadows Bourjois Paris and Maybelline do. 

I love the packaging of the product bright red lid with a glass pot. The size is perfect and doesn't take up too much room in your make up bag.

It's SUPER easy to use like the other creamy eyeshadows but this one is a bit more thicker. Just swirl your fingertip around the eyeshadow and apply to your eyelid. 

What I've found about this eyeshadow ink is that having a lot of the eyeshadow on your fingertip will make it easier to blend. Just having a small amount makes look like you have a black eye haha. 

What I like about this eyeshadow ink is that you haven't got to touch it up all day, it is highly pigmented and is good value. It's normally £6 but it can be on offer for £4. 

I picked the Emerald colour because I love green and I thought it would be really pretty. It is a lovely colour in the pot but it doesn't look the exact same on the skin. It's still beautiful though.

There's two things I would criticise about this eyeshadow ink. Firstly, it's so awkward to remove when you are taking your make up off at night time, but that's the aim of the Extra Lasting products so they last all day long, but when it comes to removing this eyeshadow it doesn't want to come off. Secondly, it is difficult to apply but having more on your fingertip makes it easier to apply.

I don't use this eyeshadow ink all the time, probably just when I have a lot of time to apply my make up. 

I'd give this eyeshadow ink a three out of five stars.
