Beauty Review | Avon Ultra Colour 'Hollywood Collection' Lipsticks

At last, I managed to get hold of all Avon's Hollywood Collection Lipsticks. I got one lipstick 'Hollywood Siren' for Christmas but I looked online and there was two more lipsticks in different shades, that I was dying to have. Luckily, they appeared in 2015 Campaign 12 in the Sales book.

Firstly I have to comment on the packaging, the typography and the colours really does fit with the Hollywood theme.  I LOVE IT!

It says on the Avon website that each of these lipsticks contain moisture shea butter, Vitamin E and protects your lips with SPF15.

I must say I have had a positive experience with all these lipsticks, my lips have loved wearing them. What I love the most about Avon lipsticks is that they are moisturising and soft not only do they feel smooth when its on your lips but they leave your lips moisturised. I think when lipsticks leave your lips smooth is GREAT because not everybody carries a lip balm around with them and with some lipsticks they can leave your lips feeling rough and Avon lipsticks definitely DO NOT. 

The main important thing with lipsticks is pigmentation, all these shades are highly pigmented.

The only downfall with these lipsticks is that they need constant maintenance, you may have to re-apply the lipsticks a few times throughout the day. Reason being, when you are eating or drinking (like most lip products) it tends to wear off, however they do not wear off easily. 

Hollywood Siren

This is a very dark, classy red, perfect for Christmas and Autumn. Red lipsticks are my favourite.

Show Business

Although, 'Show Business' looks identical to 'Hollywood Siren' it is more of a deep, bold pink. I absolutely LOVE this shade, it is gorgeous and not quite as classy as the other. It is perfect to wear for a party, but I wear this lipstick about 6 days a week.

Starlet Glamour

This shade is completely different to the other two, it's a beautiful nude golden colour. It is bold and obvious on your lips, but I think this shade is perfect for an everyday natural make up look.

All these lipsticks are bright, beautiful and bold. They are definitely lipsticks you would wear to Hollywood, especially with that shimmer on your lips.

I love all these lipsticks but my personal favourite is 'Show Business' it suits me best. When I wear this lipstick I like to make my eye make up look SUPER dramatic, heavy black liquid eyeliner with Avon's plum // purply Glimmerstick and a pinky and brown eyeshadow. I wear subtle blusher and use bronzer so I have more of a sun kissed tan glow.
