Beauty Review | Benefit they're real! Mascara

I have heard everybody raving about this mascara about the dramatic volume and long lasting effects. I was intrigued to see what all the hype was about, so I went to the Benefit counter a few months ago on my shopping spree and finally bought it.

Firstly, the packaging is gorgeous: it's purple mirrored and has beautiful typography.

I have never seen my eyelashes look so jet-black! Most mascaras do provide jet black eyelashes but not like this mascara does. It gives your lashes a lot of attention, it's probably the most boldest part of your make up look (alongside with your bold lipsticks). It is the most effective mascara for making your lashes look voluminous and natural. I don't think it's overrated for making your lashes look natural but it doesn't cause clumps or smudge. I've read reviews on this mascara and I've seen a lot of comments that it smudges but I've not had a smudging experience with it.

Another perk of this mascara is that it does give your eyelashes dramatic length and a voluminous curl. It's like your eyelashes have been stretched out after applying this.

When I opened I thought 'ooh I'm not sure about this plastic applicator' but I love it more than any other mascara applicator. I'm not sure the effect of the applicator but I think it helps curl your lashes more. I have noticed with other mascara they do not curl as dramatically as this one.

The mascara removes really easy just a few rubs with a cotton wool pad and it's all off!

It is a great mascara but I think it's quite expensive £19.50. I suppose it's not the MOST expensive mascara but it's a lot pricer than any other mascaras I own.

Overall, I am very impressed with this mascara and now I see what the hype was all about. Thank you Benefit for making this beautiful mascara. I will definitely be repurchasing this mascara.
