Avon LUXE Eyeshadow Palettes
There is a range of products of Luxe in Avon and I have been very impressed with these eyeshadow palettes. Not only are they highly pigmented but are easy to blend and look beautiful all blended together. I feel the Luxe collection is a luxury because of the product itself but also the packaging. I like to take these for a weekend away because they are light and squeeze easily into your make up bag.
When I first received these, I felt the colours were rather adventurous for me but turns out they are not so bright when you apply them to your eyelids. For my eyes, I'm more of a brown/bronzes kind of gal. However, I do like to 'boost' up my look sometimes, I am tempted to buy some bright green eyeshadow for a summer party look.
I wouldn't say I have blended the eyeshadows excellent here (or look like bruises haha) , but as you can see they do blend well and I feel they are the most beautiful colours. Perhaps these shades are more suitable for winter as in the summer I like to go for a lighter look.
I think I prefer the Black Tie palette compared to the previous palette probably because they are more sparkly and prettier. On this test, I mixed all the colours together particularly the white shade I mixed in all of them and the bottom right I added some pink. I never use just one eyeshadow when doing my eye look, I like to add a variety of eyeshadows to bring more colour in. I feel they are colours that you can mix together and are not too adventurous if you are wanting to have a simple but sparkly make up look.
Overall, the Luxe eyeshadow palettes are excellent, obviously they are not your Naked's and Stila's but I feel they are just as good and still make your eyes look beautiful. For the price (I think they are under or around £10), you should try them out and see how you get on with them.
