Avon | Ultra Colour Lip Crayons

For me, Avon's best product seems to be lipsticks. Of course, Avon's other products are excellent but the lipsticks are just a success. Being a lipstick lover, the lip crayons make me nostalgic of my childhood when I always use to draw and write with crayons. The lip crayon idea is so different from other lipsticks and is not your conventional lipstick. 

Avon claims the crayons are:

• Rich, creamy lip color and liner in one

• Twists up for more product

• Sheer to medium coverage

• Creamy formula with Vitamin E and Shea Butter

• Glides on smooth and easy

• Ease of a pencil with the coverage of a lipstick

• Rich, creamy color

• Shimmery, high shine finish

Arguably, these lip crayons have a lovely formula but they are not so soft and comfortable as the new matte lipsticks, however I would not let this put me off from buying them. Unfortunately, the lipsticks are great but they are the only lipstick product in Avon that seems to dry your lips so I have to disagree with Avon's idea that the product has a creamy formula. When I have removed the lipstick or after hours it has been on, it leaves my lips feeling rough and strips the moisture and softness from my lips. However, some people might not be bothered about this and if you are wanting a pigmented, bold lips then these lip crayons are perfect to  use. 

To get more out of the lip crayon, you just twist the bottom and I think this is great because you are getting more out of the product 

Overall, these lip crayons are a success but there are a few areas of the lipstick that could be improved such as making it feel more moisturising, however I would recommend this product if you are wanting a bold, vibrant look.
