Nail Post: Avon | Nailwear Pro Blue Escape / OPAL Top Coat Opalesce

I'm no nail professional, but I love painting my nails and other people's nails and testing out nail polishes. For me, having my nails painted makes me feel good and finishes off my look perfectly. I decided to paint my mums nails with some of the Avon products. This post will be a review of these nail varnishes but also how I do my nails in stages.

When I paint my nails, I do not always put sparkly top coats on top however for this post I wanted to create a summer party nail look. I would start my nails with the 5-in-1 nail treatment (I reviewed last year), then I would put my nail polish on and sometimes add some sparkly/glittery element to them.

First stage:

The blue shiny nail varnish is Blue Escape and is from the Nailwear Pro collection. I love the nailwear pro nail varnishes, however I was not too impressed with this one, the main reason being because you have to put about 2/3 coats on until you get the right look. In light of this, most shiny nail varnishes like these do need many coats in order to have the perfect finish.

First coat:

Second coat:

Other than that criticism, it is a beautiful colour and is the right colour for the summer

Third stage is adding the sparkly OPAL Top Coat Opalesce from Avon:

I absolutely love this top coat... although they do not look perfect in the sunlight this top coat gives a beautiful glimmer to your nails. I think it would be better to use this top coat as an individual nail polish because I think it is a little too thick for a top coat... but it still works perfectly as a top coat.

Overall, these nail varnishes are great and I think they are worth buying for the price!
