Illamasqua | Pure Pigment

Illamasqua is one make up brand that I have not shopped at yet. I thought it was about time that I invested in one of their products to see if they are good. Many bloggers and YouTubers seem to love Illamasqua's Pure Pigment pots and now I can see why.

I wanted to get a shade that would be suitable for all occasions and I think 'Furore' does that. This shade gives you that sun kissed tan glow. One of the main reasons I love this about this make up product is that it really gives a radiant glow to your face. You can also use this product for eyeshadow and shimmer for your body. If you want a lighter shade eyeshadow, you can use this Pure Pigment. It's good to blend it with other eyeshadows and makes your eyes look pretty. This is a great product to use if you are going out on a night out and what your arms and legs to have a shimmery glow. Luckily, the Pure Pigment does not irritate my skin and it feels rather gentle and lightweight.

The only criticism I can make about this product is the packaging. It is rather difficult to get the Pure Pigment out of the pot. I think they could have made the packaging more practical so it is easier to get the highlighter out. The Pure Pigment is a beautiful product but can be rather messy to use. My best tip for using the product effectively is to get a make up brush that has a small applicator and apply it to your face. When I first started using this product, I was using my fingers to do it and I think that was not the best way to do it. I also feel that you do not get much of the product inside. However, you do not need to use a lot of the Pure Pigment to get a radiant glow. If you just apply a little bit onto a brush and then blend it on your face, it will look stunning! To be fair, the camera is not doing the Pure Pigment justice. It gives you the most beautiful shine to your face. You can wear the Pure Pigment with or without foundation and concealer. I must admit the Pure Pigment is at its best when you have put on foundation and apply afterwards.

The Pure Pigment's are not the cheapest of products and cost £17.50. There are probably other products like the Pure Pigments that are just as good.

Love always,
Paige xoxo
